Rascal and Mouse are brother and sister rescue kitties from our backyard.... but the reuniting did not happen at the same time. Rascal was rescued August 2019 no more than 1 month old. We did not know he had any siblings. A week later, we saw a flash of another tabby kitten running by our front door. Thanks to your security camera, and after three months of patiently tracking and waiting, we were able to capture his mama and two sisters. We brought them to MHS to fix, but sadly on their return to us despite trying they were not tameable. We knew one more remained and a month later, we captured the remaining sibling...soon to be called Mouse. She was not deemed tameable by MHS but we were driven to try. Two days later, she was purring in the palm of my husband’s hand...she was ours forever. It only took another few days to introduce her to her brother and it was as if they’d never been apart. This photo was taken early on and captures their love. We still feed mama and sisters in the backyard every day... a family united.
