The Maui Humane Society is Maui’s only open-admission animal shelter. We are a non-profit entity that relies on assistance from the community to continue our mission: To protect and save the lives of Maui’s animals accepting all in need, educating the community, and inspiring respect and compassion towards all animals. In 2019 alone, our organization found homes for 2,282 animals through adoptions, transferred 870 animals to “adoption guaranteed” rescues and shelters and reunited 843 families with their lost pets.
