Hi, my name is Abi. I recently moved here for work and college. I grew up with horses, dogs, and cats and I’ve really missed that in my life. I am unable to have a dog due to my living situation. I really wanted to have a pet and a cat seemed like the best way to go. I’ve always watched all the adoption agency facilities in Great Falls and poured over pictures and I knew I wanted to give a cat a safe and happy home.

Recently my mom visited and we bought all of the things for me to be able to provide a new home for a cat in need. I knew that I was getting closer to the time where adoption would be able to work for me. I was ready. As I said I was daily looking at all of the pictures on the websites of new and available cats/kittens coming into the shelter. A day after my mom went home I was browsing the sites on my lunch break “Klaus” at Maclean Animal shelter and I was going to wait until Saturday to go see him, but my mom said go after work and meet him and see if he is even a match for you.

So I went, and it was love at first sight for both of us.

Maclean animal shelter was so good to me and was able to let me have some time with him and told me the story of how this 5 month old kitten came to them and it broke my heart and that is how I knew I was going to be Klaus’s forever person. Having him in my home has filled my life with so much joy. He is so playful, loves to snuggle, and l we never looked back.
