My Pet's Story
Willie is my 8 year old boxer. He was a rescue. His previous owner had passed away and my buddy was alone with him for a while before anyone knew. When PD was asked to check on the previous owner, Willie done his job and protected his home. He sounds really mean from the other side of the door. Animal control was called in to take him for evaluation. Once he was cleared I found him. I am a combat veteran who struggles with PTSD. His previous owner was a Marine and from what I was told very similar in build to me, including a bald head. Willie may not have ever had received service dog training, but he definitely acts like it. He notices on my bad days. He somehow knows when I need to be misdirected in my thoughts. I've had him for three years now. I dressed him up as a gangster in the picture. He's truly rescued me more than I did him. I love my boy.
