Pet's Quirks
Sunny could not be more aptly named. She is truly a ray of sunshine! Sunny is the ultimate cuddler. She would live inside your skin if she could. She doesn't seem to ever be able to get close enough! Sunny loves long walks on the beach, wrestling with her brother, and watching birds out the window. She will gladly eat any treat you give her and will even give you an unsolicited and persistent high five to earn it! Sunny is just a happy little girl full of love!

Pet's Story
Sunny came to the Monmouth County SPCA on a transport from a shelter in the South. When her mom saw her, it was love at first sight!! Luckily, she didn't have to spend too long in the shelter and now spends her days running on the beach or laying on the porch in the sun.
Her big brother, Chance, might not have been overly excited when her mom first brought her home, but they have quickly become best friends. We like to think of Sunny as Chance's emotional support dog. She has helped this anxious boy come out of his shell and embrace life with much less fear! Sunny is the perfect addition to our little family and has filled a place in our hearts that we didn't know was there <3
