Pet's Quirks
Leeloo likes to keep an eye on the neighborhood from her perch on the living room windowsill. She enjoys long walks on the beach, cozying up by the fireplace with either a Hemingway or Poe novel and a dish of '98 catnip flavored Bordeaux. Turnoffs include ticks, most dogs, showers/baths, vacuum cleaners, people sneezing, moth balls and the Veterinarian, to name a few.

Pet's Story
Leeloo is a rescue cat from the SPCA. Upon her adoption, it was estimated that she was 2-3 years old. Yet after her first vet appointment, Dr. Walter determined that due to her periodontal teeth decay, that 6 rotten teeth required extraction, which resulted in an exorbitant amount of money. We learned that she was upwards of 5-6 years old, as this amount of dental work wouldn't be common for a 2 year old cat. It was also estimated that Leeloo has had 2+ litters, and while in the SPCA, showed a 'motherly' instinct to young newborn kittens. Her affinity for constantly trying to sneak outside, frolic in the grass, climb halfway up trees and luxuriate under the moonlight in the fresh air has convinced us, as her 'parents' that she had spent a good amount of time outdoors, a result of being homeless, or as an indoor/outdoor cat with previous owner(s). She, being an orange-haired diva is aptly named after Milla Jovovich's character in the 1997 sci-fi movie "The Fifth Element", which garnered rave reviews and a cult following. She has been a welcome addition to our home and seems to always make sure that she is the last to come to bed after we are comfortable.
