10-year old ASHLEY was surrendered to the Memphis shelter after her owner died, and she was left in the home for several days without food or water. At the shelter, ASHLEY was put on the euthanize list because there was no interest in her. Fortunately, she was rescued just in time to save her life. ASHLEY was at her foster parent's house 3 days when she was invited to have an overnight at Ava Maria Nursing Home in Bartlett because they were looking for a Therapy Dog. ASHLEY was an instant hit! Not only did they want her, she never returned to her foster because she found her forever home! ASHLEY now spends her time traveling from cottage to cottage offering love, support, and wet kisses to the residents. ASHLEY has had a RUFF life but now has her forever home as a Therapy Dog at Ava Maria Nursing Home.
