Riley was adopted from Border Collie Rescue in 2005 when he was nine months old. It quickly became clear that his life was to become one of service. He was trained and licensed as a service dog and has been at my left side helping me with mobility for 12 years. As the years passed he became a multi-tasker assisting me with hearing and other medical problems. Riley has traveled the world on planes, cruise ships, trains, and buses. He goes out to dinner, to movies and the symphony. He has brought joy to all who meet him. Riley's special love is Mollie who lives on the Mendocino Coast and is a previous winner of the contest. He would like to win too so Mollie will be as proud of him as he is of her.
