He was the smallest pooch in the corner of a cage with lots of bigger pups from a recently busted puppy mill. Poor little guy couldn't get near the food bowl. I felt so sorry for him that I went and filled out application. He rode all the way home wrapped around the back of my neck. When he entered the front door he immediatly started to run around, play with the toys I bought, and then lined them up in front of him while under a chair he claimed as his den. I was going to call him mouse because he was so small and quiet, but a friend told me he needed a bigger guy name to give him confidence so I named him Moose. After a time he did get bigger, his fur got longer, but he kept his sweet puppy buddha personality so Moose became Moosie. My best buddy!
