Never in my life did I ever think that I would be a dog person. Ever. Even when we rescued my boxer when she was just 7 weeks old, I wasn't enamored with her. I liked her, but she didn't convert me to a dog person.⠀

Enter Max. He is a 1 year old yellow lab who we rescued from our local Humane Society. He is so full of life and love. His personality is huge and he has the energy to match it. ⠀

I have been really anxious over my husband being away on fires with Cal Fire during this season. Things have been scary out there, but Max has helped to ease our anxieties with his big fun loving spirit.

Max came bounding into my life in april and filled my heart with such joy. Although I miss hubby, I am not as lonely as I thought I'd be. The fact that he keeps the kids entertained is EXTRA.⠀

So now, I am a dog person. Good boy
