I met Mooki right after she had a litter of puppies at our Humane Society in Ft. Bragg. I had no plan to adopt a dog. We had cats only for 32 years when our beloved dog Rainbow died.
HOWEVER, i fell in love with this dog. She had basically been abandoned and surrendered only days before giving birth. She has been our family member since January '22 and we go to the dog park, walks, swims and play dates with other dogs. She is the smartest dog we know, the sweetest and most obedient. This couldn't be a more perfect match. She has brought such joy to our lives.
