Hi, I’m Pearl.
I was born in Point Arena where my momma cat Greta fell in love with a stray in the forest.
Luckily, Covid shut down kept my momma from getting an appointment to get spayed. I never met my daddy cat, but I spent time as a kitten in Anchor Bay, with my four siblings, momma cat, and Auntie Coconut. My human liked that I have a heart on my nose so she kept me and named me her Lil Black Pearl. I also experienced living in The Sea Ranch and Little River, where I loved the quiet and outdoors, but was hit by a car on Little River Airport Road. Luckily, Village Veterinary in Mendocino made me all better. This picture is of me enjoying my daytime adventures in the outskirts of the Pigmy Forest this past spring. Now I’m down in the Harbor where big feral cats and fast cars scare me, so I mostly stay indoors. I have enjoyed growing up along the Mendocino Coast and hope you understand when my human asks you to slow down; tourists seem to forget people and their pets live here. Your friend, Purrin Pearl 🖤
