We had lost our dog in 2023 and we had wanted to adopt another dog from MCHS. I went on a whim and met Daisy and her 2 siblings and knew this was the time. My husband and I came back after they had been fixed and we picked her. She is the sweetest little pup.

Roo was a long time resident at MCHS (900+ days) and Daisy was only there for a few days. My son (23) fell in love with Roo and had been watching her on the website for a few months, debating if it was the right time to get a pet. Through the borrow the buddy program and a few guided walks with Daisy and the amazing staff at MCHS, Roo joined our family.

Daisy and Roo are the best of friends. They play, run hot laps, wrestle, share toys and love to snuggle on the couch with us, even attempting to be lap dogs, which is hilarious. I know this is a late entry but please vote for our girls! 2 amazing rescues who have stolen our hearts.
