Balou would not be with us today if we had not taken a leap of faith that he and our dogs may learn to co-exist- and they have! You see, Balou was a very happy house cat until his human mommy died and the family came and cleaned out the house....and did not take Balou- So for a freezing winter and spring Balou lived under the house that used to be his and scraped by as best he could. When I found him, his ears were badly infected and after being cleaned it was discovered the infection had caused a form of cancer in his ear canals. His diagnosis and his age made him "unadoptable" and he was going to be euthanized. Which I couldn't stand because he is still active, purrs all the time and is full of cuddly personality. A year later and Balou is still symptom free. He carries his Dolly around the house and we love him very much. Please vote for Balou! Thank-you.
