Your Pet's Story or Bio
A sad note - my sweet, funny Joe, was a mixed fox, rat, jack russell, possibly bull terrier and a new breed I invented, a Holstein terrier. He loved to eat, ride in the car, sniff out rodents, listen to music and be a friend to all. He was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which progressed rapidly and I had to let him go on Friday, July 3. Even though I had Joe for only six months, we had a uniquely strong, loving bond and I know that he and I will always be grateful for our mutual rescue of each other - that we brought so much happiness to our lives in that short time. I knew I was taking a risk getting an older dog, but it was love at first sight for Joe Cool and me, and we were truly swept away. I shall always smile when I think of him. Thank you Mendocino Coast Humane Society for that joyous time together with Joe.
