Pet's Story or Bio
We rescued Taffy from CARE in November 2012 when she was about 1 year old. Taffy filled the gap left by George who passed away 8 months earlier. Typical beagle: smart, curious, loud, and of course very loving. She accepted Tilly immediately and the two are inseparable. Taffy will definitely let you know when it is time for breakfast, dinner and their 7:00 pm training treat time and their 9:00 pm last biscuit before bed-time. Always the first one to the door to greet us when we return from even a 30 second walk to the mailbox. Of course her howl will alert the neighbors we are home. She and her sister, Tilly, do a superb job at keeping the local rabbit population a bay. Taffy is the most loving and faithful hound we have ever had.
