Lilly and Sandy are rescue dogs. Lilly is #1 and is about 5 years old while Sandy (#2) is about 4. They are best buddies, both (at separate times) from the Ripley County Humane Society. Both live in a house with a pet door that allows access to a fenced back yard. Sandy, who was an abused dog, is totally dedicated to being Lilly's friend and the two of them have decided their job at their surburban home is to keep the house safe from neighborhood wildlife including rabbits, woodchucks, chipmunks, and neighborhood cats. They are also dedicated to announcing passing deer during the night, along with any raccoon or possum within their hearing range...no matter what time of night it is. Their owner does not approve of the night work, but dogs do what they think is right...

Lilly and Sandy are always a joy to be around. They are fun-loving bundles of love that are always glad to see you when you come home, no matter what time it is or how late their dinner is. They race through the house like wild horses, love to take walks and explore new places, visit new people, and see new things. Lilly and Sandy never worry about tomorrow or what happened yesterday, and always live in the moment.,,their owner sometimes would like to be like them!
