I Had just lost my dog of 15 years in June 2015. My niece was desperate one day to just go pet some animals so we drove all over to Petsmart and Petco, and when they didn’t have any, she suggested we go to MEHS! It had only been two weeks since I lost my baby of 15 years and I was not ready for another animal just yet. When I walked into the doors of MEHS Emmie told me different. Something about her tugged at me. She wasn’t very social or very loving. I decided to give her a chance. Older and being a black cat, I knew she didn’t have a chance. After a year, she Is now my sweet sweet Emmie Lou and can’t imagine life without her! Even if they say they’re not very social or caring, please give them a chance! 💚
