I got Maryland from MEHS 2 years ago. She was a stray/barn cat when she was surrendered. She came home with me barely 5lbs. She has since blossomed into a 9lb beautiful girl with the most amazing personality! She has old injuries that never healed right, but they just add to her charm. She greets all guests in my house whether they like it or not. She just wants all the love from the people. Her favorite place to lay is on my mousepad while I'm trying to work. I won the lottery when I brought home this belly rub loving cat.
