Mercedes was a stray rescue who was brought into metro east while I was volunteering! She melted my heart, and when I found out how sweet and gentle she is I knew I couldn't pass her up. She had a litter of puppies and was put up for adoption shortly after and I saw in her eyes that she was a mama through and through so not even waiting for my mama's permission I immediately adopted her and named her Isobel after my favorite Grey's Anatomy character!
