I adopted Zora from MEHS in January of 2025 after she had been brought in by animal control for emergency surgery to remove an embedded color. She had been adopted and returned for being too nippy before I found her, and I cannot tell you how grateful I am for that. Turns out she's half American Akita, half bully breed mix! We think someone bred her intentionally, trying to make a beast, but little did they know they birthed my protector. All this girl needed was love and warmth, a strong presence, and someone to pay attention. She's a stubborn bugger, but her intelligence is through the roof! Must be that big ol' head of hers. Velcro dog all the way, would never let anything happen to Mom, and Mom would never let anything happen to her. Thank you guys for bringing me to my A-Pit-A, Zora Bora Mia Amora.
