Tiegan and Miles were adopted from Basenji Rescue & Transport, Inc. Tiegan, our Princess of Sunshine and Magic, and Miles, aka Sir Chewsalot, will soon be 11, and they still run the Basenji 500 when they see a squirrel out the window. They are escape artists, door bolters, stubborn, active, and much too intelligent. They are sight hounds with strong prey drives who can’t be off-leash unless in a secure fenced area. You have to be a little bit crazy to have a Basenji; we have two and think they are treasures.
