We lost our sweet Sasha last fall and this has always been one of my favorite pictures of her from a hike to Brainard Lake many years ago. Sasha came to us from a family that had too much on their plate when she was just 6 months old and fit into our lives perfectly. She loved her big dog sister, Paisley, and when we brought our son, Charlie home from the hospital she could hardly contain her excitement! Once he became mobile Sasha's favorite place became anywhere he couldn't reach her but she appreciated all the times he shared his snacks with her! What we loved most about her was her sweet, sensitive, soul. We miss her middle of the night dreaming howls, her ability to squish into the tiniest of places to get comfy cozy, her lightning fast speed and galloping feet, and the many positions we would find her sleeping in. While our hearts are still broken without her here with us we were lucky to have her in our family and bring us so much joy. We love you Sashimi-girl!
