Maggie was adopted from the St. George, UT animal shelter in November 2022. She was sickly, underweight and appeared to have been used as a breeder in a puppy mill. Once she was well, it became clear that she has the sweetest nature and would make a wonderful therapy dog. She begins her career as the facility dog at the Healing Center School at St. Jude's Ranch for Children in August where she will bring comfort to children in foster care and those who have been trafficked. Her unconditional love will surely offer light to children who have witnessed so much darkness.
