Hello, I'm Freedom — the coolest golden retriever around!

Just 13 years ago, I made my way from Washington to Las Vegas, where I was lovingly raised by my puppy raisers, Bryce and Stephanie Gerken. I was trained to become a service dog for a veteran, and I’m proud to say I faithfully served my human for 10 amazing years, from the bright lights of Vegas all the way to the East Coast.

In October 2025, I came full circle — flown back to Vegas to enjoy my well-deserved retirement with my original family. Now, I get to spend my golden years soaking up love from my two-legged siblings, Addy and Maddy, and romping around with my four-legged brothers, Leo and Muddy.

Don’t let this gray face fool you — I’ve still got a heart of gold and a tail that never quits wagging. I may be retired, but I’m still spreading smiles wherever I go.
