Welcome to the paw-tastic world of Michele's Rescue Photo Contest! We're wagging our tails in excitement as we invite you and your adorable furballs to join in the fun. Our contest isn't just about capturing picture-perfect moments—it's about sharing the joy, promoting pawsitivity, and making tails wag all around.
How to Pawticipate
Got a pet who's photogenic and ready to steal hearts? Great! To dive into the contest, simply follow these guidelines:
1. Unleash Your Creativity: Snap a picture of your furry friend that showcases their personality and charm.
2. Details, Please: When you upload your pet's snapshot, make sure to provide:
- Your Pet's Name
- Your Contact Information
3. Online Entries Only: Submit your photo through the GoGo Photo Contest website, as we're not able to accept in-person submissions. 📷
4. Mark Your Calendar: Get those paws in gear! Entries must be submitted by November 6, 2023, to be part of the cuteness extravaganza.
The Contest Scoop
A sprinkle of fun and a dash of goodwill, that's our contest's secret recipe! Here's what you need to know:
- Entry Fee & Donations: It's just $5 to be a contestant, and trust us, the wagging tails and happy heartbeats it supports are worth every cent! For every dollar donated, you cast a vote for your chosen contestant. Aim for a minimum donation of $5 (that's five votes). But hey, you can store your votes in a virtual "vote bank" and sprinkle them around as you please.
- Vote with Your Heart: Your donations are golden, and they're as heartwarming as a snug blanket on a chilly night. All proceeds go directly to Michele’s Rescue, a 501(c)3 non-profit. That means your donations are tax-deductible, and you'll receive the scoop on taxes through GoGo Photo Contest after your kind gesture.
Your Donations: A Lifeline for the Furry Heroes
Have you ever wondered how your generosity can make a difference in the lives of our furry friends? We're here to share the heartwarming impact your donations have on animals in need. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a ray of sunshine in their lives. Your donation approximately covers:
- $5 - A Meal for a Rescued Puppy: With just $5, you provide a can of nourishing wet food to a rescued puppy. Imagine those grateful puppy eyes as they savor each bite, feeling safe and loved.
- $20 - Nurturing Love for a Motherless Kitten: A $20 donation ensures that a motherless kitten gets the nourishment they need with a can of formula. It's like a warm hug, reminding them that they are not alone.
- $75 - Protecting Our Doggo Pals: Your $75 donation goes towards essential doggo vaccines, safeguarding our four-legged companions and keeping tails wagging with joy.
- $125 - Spay a Kitty, Save a Life: Your generosity of $125 helps us spay a kitty, preventing future generations from experiencing the hardships of the streets and ensuring they find a loving home.
- $1000 - A Ray of Hope in Times of Cruelty: With a $1000 donation, you partially cover the costs of an emergency vet visit for an animal who has faced cruelty before finding solace in our care. It's a lifeline for those who need it most, offering healing and a fresh start.

Now, about those fur-tastic pictures:
- Snapshot Formats: We're into .jpg, .png, and .gif formats. Keep the tech simple, the picture perfect, and the memories forever.
- Picture Perfection: Feel free to sprinkle a bit of digital fairy dust with minor edits like color tweaks or sharpening. Just don't transform your furball into a unicorn (unless they're into that).
- Respect the Copyright: Let's keep things fair and square—your picture should be as original as your pet's quirky antics.
- Keep It Classy: We want tails wagging, not eyebrows raising. Any images that raise eyebrows (in a not-so-good way) might be gently escorted out of the contest.
Voting & Sharing the Love
The power of pawsitivity is real, and it's in your hands:
- Vote, Share, Win: Drum up support like a pro by sharing your pet's pic on social media. The more likes and shares, the merrier! Spread the word, and your chances to win will skyrocket.
- The Voting Game: The crown goes to those with the most votes. But remember, quality matters over quantity. Gather those donations, as each vote is a donation to Michele’s Rescue—our lifeline in making tails wag.
- Deadline Dash: Voting's open till 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, November 6, 2023. Make sure your votes are registered before the clock strikes 8:00 pm on that day!
Fetching Your Prize
Woohoo, winners! 🏆 If you're among the lucky ones, we'll send you an email (it will come from volunteer Victoria Gonda) and guide you through claiming your prize. And if, by chance, you can't claim the prize, we'll crown the runner-up with the next highest votes.
