Our Rookie was surrendered, by the owner, to our local humane society at 12 weeks old as a purebred German Shepherd. We were so lucky to have found him right away. We immediately adopted him. We already have a 2 1/2 year old, female, German Shepherd/Yellow Lab mix named Roxy. We felt that she really needed a playmate. We were right! They love each other! However, Rookie is sometimes an annoying little brother to Roxy. At the end of the day, they are always together. Rookie has already learned so much from his big sister Roxy. He follows her around everywhere. They are both wonderful additions to our family! They both always wat to be where we are at all times!
