Iorek was a very loved dog to a navy serviceman for the first 7 years of his life. His Human found a person to watch over iorek for the year or so he would be gone and paid him to keep up with grooming and vet bills. Upon a break home 8 months later, it was discovered that iorek had been locked in a basement and completely neglected. He was malnourished and covered in fleas, mites, and rashes. He was taken to a high kill shelter by the person who was supposed to be caring for him. When the sailor found out, he picked his beloved dog up and took him to an animal foundation to find him a forever home that would treat him with love. Iorek found me at 9 years old and healed back into the happy boy he is meant to be.
