My fiance Eric resisted getting a dog for as long as possible. One night while mindlessly scrolling through his Facebook feed, he came across some Internet dog video and conceded. "We need to get a doggo." The next day, I woke him up and insisted we go to the Humane Society. He agreed to go "just to look," but I knew I had won. Charlie was there looking up at us with his big brown human-like eyes. We knew instantly he was the doggo for us. We do not know much about his life before he became our fur baby, but he is currently spoiled with more toys than he can rip the stuffing out of, plenty of sunbeams to nap in, and "mistakenly" dropped chicken.

Fun fact about your pet (optional)
Charlie's name at the shelter was "Tank," which we did not think fit him. Every now and then, "Tank" seems to fit.
