Your pet's story or bio
Mia was rescued from a Mississippi puppymill and transported to the Chicago, Illinois area where she was fostered. Once old enough and a a needed knee surgery, she was place for adoption as “special needs”. Despite being out of state, we filled out an application and drove to Chicago to get her. Once home, she required additional knee surgeries, totally 4 altogether. She is a wonderful little girl and is now 5 years old.
