After my dear Zoie passed (adopted at the Detroit MHS 14 years ago), I felt a void in my heart. I knew that I wanted another cat and prayed for weeks before attempting. I finally went to the Rochester MHS and there she was! The only female kitten left and from our 1st encounter, I knew I was blessed with my new best friend! Her and I get along like long lost friends, which makes me feel that she picked up right where Zoie left off. When she was a kitten, her eyes were tan but weeks later, her eyes changed to a beautiful yellow/green...just like Zoie's! It blew my mind and confirmed that we were destined to be together!

Ginger LOVES tummy rubs, which is very unusual for cats!
