As a puppy, Maisey Blu was a Leader Dog for the Blind in training. For a whole year, her assigned family trained this smart, but rambunctious little pup to help a blind person one day. On the day she was returned for final training, their hearts were broken. A month later, Leader Dog called saying Maisey was really smart but just too playful, which her family knew, and wanted to know if they would like Maisey Blu backed as a permanent addition to the family. They jumped at the opportunity! Eight years later, Maisey Blu is the definition of perpetual puppy, wanting to play at ever possible moment.
