Your pet's story or bio
Lizzie is a terrier mix who was brought into a Michigan shelter in early 2009 and bounced between a few more shelters until we fostered her starting in Dec of 2017. After moving into a home that felt more suitable for a dog, we adopted her in August of 2018. Since we've had her, we've made sure to make up for all those years in shelters without a home of her own by spoiling her in any way we possibly can. We are constantly thankful to the shelters and staff who never gave up on her and she still gets visits from shelter staff that knew her over the years. She is 1000lbs of love stuffed into 35lbs of cute and we can't imagine life without her.
