Dusty (aka Chunk) was adopted from MHS in March. He’s a senior that weighed a whopping 27lbs and it was love at first pet. Chunk had some serious health problems right after coming home and I was told he may need put down.I was willing to do whatever it took to save my sweet baby’s life and advocated for a life-saving surgery. Today Dusty is down 4lbs and is the light of my life. His belly is still bald from surgery, but it earns him extra belly rubs. He enjoys napping, eating, napping, his toy fishy, and being petted constantly. It never occurred to me that an animal could be your soulmate, but I feel like he and I were destined to find each other. He has saved me as much as I saved him. I love this handsome boy!
