Your Pet's Story or Bio
In 2003 Buddy was born into a dog fighting organization and used as bait. He was the only bait puppy that survived when the MHS rescue team arrived. His face was ripped up and he was at the Detroit facility for a month getting treated. He was then in a foster home for 3 months. I look for abused or dogs with anxiety issues, rehabilitate and give them a good home. I was compelled to adopt him when I read his story. Today Buddy is 13 and is as loving and loyal as any lab. He is smart and funny and I couldn't imagine our lives without him the past 13 years. One if his favorite things is visiting family on this 5 acre property with a pond. Thank you MHS for all you do. Buddy is certainly a success story.
