Mallie is one of many MARR success stories. Occasionally a dog comes to MARR as a "Release to Rescue Only" This means that for whatever reason, the dog isn't seen as being fit to release to the general public. Such is the case with Miss Mallie. You see, MARR was Mallie's last hope as she was extremely strong willed and deemed aggressive. In truth, Mallie had learned the hard way to keep people at bay by snarling, lunging and barring her teeth. It was far less painful that way. With the help of MARR, Mallie learned that there are people in this world who are willing to treat her with kindness, respect and above all lots and lots of love.
