Miguel Angel Zavala
At 20 week fetus anatomy ultrasound baby was diagnosed with Congenital pulmonary airway malformation. His lung tumor was a large solid mass. 1 in 25,000 babies are diagnosed. Miguel case was the worse type of cpam possible. Chances for survival were very small. At 38 weeks baby was delivered c-section with a room full of specialist. Miguel came out screaming. His first day of life Miguel underwent 3 major surgeries. Miguel was on life support for 12 days. Today at 15 months. Miguel is sitting, rolling, eating and working on more goals with his early intervention team. Thankful for everyone, baby Miguel is thriving and also became a big brother. He also loves cuddles from his big sister.
