Your Story
Luca was born at 25 weeks gestation, weighing only 2lbs 4oz. He was immediately transferred to CHOC NICU after birth and remained there for three long months. While in the NICU, Luca was diagnosed with a bilateral brain bleed, and retinopathy which is an eye disease that occurs in babies who are born prematurely. Doctors were concerned that the retina would detach leaving Luca permanently blind. But, by the grace of God he has been healed from those diagnoses. He is most definitely my miracle baby. Since being released from the NICU, Luca has been consistently attending physical, and occupational therapy, and just recently speech therapy. He will be turning two years old in September and continues to thrive more and more each day. Luca is the sweetest little boy you’ll ever meet with such a sweet heart. Each day, and each moment with him in my life has been the biggest blessing.
