I was 32 weeks pregnant when they performed the routine ultrasound to assess growth. Since the scan showed no growth for the last 2 weeks, they decided I should get the becamethasone injections to mature her lungs in case she would need to be delivered early. several doctors then decided to just go agreed w the delivery right away. Unfortunately the birthing plan didn’t go well because they could get the needle in my back for the epidural. I had to do natural childbirth . It was excruciating pain but I managed to push her out at 8 am August 23, 2023. She is doing well now in the Nicu. Thank you to my doula, Ellen Brown for being my sole support during the delivery and postpartum.
