- Each photograph must include an animal/pet. The contest is open to all animals/pets, not only dogs and cats.
- Photos containing humans or agency personnel can only be submitted to the Agency photo category.
- Photos submitted must be from the original owner.
- MACA has final approval on all photos submitted to our contest and/or calendar.
- Photos with animals wearing choke, prong, or shock collars, and muzzles will not be accepted.
- MACA reserves the right to crop, resize, or edit a photo if necessary and publish submitted photos in the calendar.
- Photographs may be color, black and white, or sepia toned. No other digital effects will be accepted.
- All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos.
- Photo submissions must include:
- Name of Animal/Pet
- Owner's Name
- Owner's Email Address
- City and State
- Angeny info (if applicable)
- A paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the animal in the photo.
- There is a $5 photo submission fee.
- Each vote costs $1.
- You can submit as many photos as you like to any category.
- Entries will be taken from 8:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Monday, April 15, 2024 until 8:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
- Voting will commence 8:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Monday, April 15, 2024 until 8:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
- When commenced, the top 13 photos will be featured in our 2025 calendar! Any photos not chosen as the top 13 could be included in a photo collage or throughout the calendar.
