Rules

1.  Each photograph must include an animal/pet. The contest is open to all animals/pets, not only dogs and cats.
2. Photos submitted must be from the original owner.
3. MACA has final approval on all photos submitted to our contest and/or calendar.
4. Photos with animals wearing choke, prong, or shock collars, and muzzles will not be accepted.
5.  MACA reserves the right to crop, resize, or edit a photo if necessary and publish submitted photos in the calendar.
6. Photographs may be color, black and white, or sepia toned. No other digital effects will be accepted.
7. All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos.
8. Photo submissions must include:
   1. Name of Animal/Pet
   2. Owner's Name
   3. Owner's Email Address
   4. City and State
   5. Angeny info (if applicable)
   6. A paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the animal in the photo.
9. There is a $5 photo submission fee.
10. Each vote costs $1.
11. You can submit as many photos as you like.
12. Entries will be taken from 8:00 AM (Central Time) on Friday, September 5, 2025 until 8:00 PM (Central Time) on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
13. Voting will commence 8:00 AM (Central Time) on Friday, September 5, 2025 until 8:00 PM (Central Time) on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
14. When commenced, the top 13 photos will be featured in our 2026 calendar! Any photos not chosen as the top 13 could be included in a photo collage or throughout the calendar.
