Pet's Story or Bio
Iggy was found on the side of a rural Ky road in earlier this summer with multiple injuries and starving to death. Animal control called my vet to help. They didn’t think he would make it through the 1st night, but this little guy is a fighter. The vet called and said I needed to come visit him. He knew my heart was still breaking from losing my last 2 bulldogs this past summer. Needless to say I fell in love with him immediately. It’s now been about 16 weeks since he was found on the side of that road, and I’ve had him about 4 weeks. He’s gained about 10lbs since then, his hair has come back thick and beautiful, and his wounds have healed even though his scars are many. He is happy and energetic and loves to play. I had always seen the t-shirts and bumper stickers that said “Who rescued who”, and now I understand…I may have rescued him, but he also rescued me. I can’t imagine life without this sweet boy!
