Story behind the cap idea/Bio
I wanted my graduation cap to be more than just a decoration, I wanted it to tell a part of my story. Every detail represents who I am, what I’ve been through, and the person I want to become. When I look at it, the first thing that comes to my mind is, “that’s me.”

The sparkle all over the cap represents the way I want to live my life: never being afraid to shine, never hiding who I am, and never believing that I am less than anyone else. For a long time, I struggled with feeling like I didn’t always belong or wondering if I truly deserved the opportunities in front of me. This cap is my reminder that I do.

The crown is the most meaningful part. To me, it isn’t about being better than others, it represents self-worth, confidence, and dignity. It reminds me to always keep my head held high, because if I lower it out of fear, insecurity, or self-doubt, the crown would fall. It’s a symbol that I should never let anyone, including myself, make me feel like I don’t deserve to be where I am.

The butterflies represent growth and transformation. Just like a butterfly, I’ve changed through every challenge, every sacrifice, and every new beginning. They remind me that becoming the person I am today wasn’t easy, but every step was worth it.

This cap reflects the person I strive to be: someone who embraces growth, carries herself with confidence, and continues moving forward no matter the obstacles. As I close this chapter and begin the next, I want to remember that I have earned my place, that I deserve every opportunity that comes my way, and that I should never be afraid to shine. This cap isn’t just a graduation cap, it’s a reminder of who I am and who I will continue to become.
