Tony was a sweet guy. We rescued many big boys with trauma histories and we went to Morris to get another dog when we lived in VT, we wanted a sibling for our recently rescued Rottie - and was told “we don’t usually adopt out of state” I decide I was still going to fill out the application. And a few weeks later we got a call seeing if we wanted to adopt a young Cane Corso with hip issues , a cherry eye and trauma history! We said “of course” and 2 weeks later we had Tony a sweet scared boy who needed a lot of love. we only got to love him for 5 years before he got very aggressive bone cancer in his jaw. We feel SO LUCKY we got to love him! Such a beautiful soul
