Pet's Story or Bio
Maggie was born to a stray in Alabama and put in a kill shelter with her siblings at just a few weeks old. A rescue organization in Tennessee took them in and an organization in the Poconos then transported them to Pennsylvania where I adopted Maggie (then Helen) at just 8 weeks old. For the past 11 years, Maggie has been my best friend and partner in crime. We had quite the scare two years ago when it was discovered she had 2 tumors in her mouth. Fortunately they were both benign and despite losing 6 teeth during the removal, that hasn't stopped her from smiling for our #MaggieMurals pictures we take all around Philly. Maggie is a natural model and the most loving companion anyone could ever ask for. She'll bring you a toy when you walk in the door and cuddle next to you when you're feeling down. Her hobbies include belly rubs, Beggin' Strips, squirrels, and being adored by everyone who meets her.
