I had been mourning the loss of my beloved, ancient dog who had been with me through some of the hardest times in my life. I needed someone to take me for walks and listen to my worries and cuddle me at night. I didn’t think I was ready for a new dog just yet, however. I saw this little guy online and stopped by the shelter just to look. It was love at first sight— those ears!! Those eyes! He is playful and hilarious. And we have been inseparable ever since.
