Pet's Story or Bio
Right before the pandemic struck, my partner and I rescued a beautiful orange stray on the streets of Norris Square in Kensington, who we named Melanie. (We did all the things to first find an owner, but nothing.) When we took sweet Melanie to the vet, we found out that she was pregnant with ONE kitten – pictured here! This is baby Toni (now Flerken), who was born right when the pandemic hit us in March. What a treat it was to quarantine with this adorable, super playful little kitten and the momma cat. Toni recently went to a loving family with a 10-year-old girl, who named her Flerken (Marvel comics!) and who couldn't be happier to have a little kitty friend. The momma cat Melanie is now spayed and enjoying the comfy spoiled life indoors with us.
