Pet's Story or Bio
Jasmine is blind, and she was sickly and underweight when I adopted her in 2019 and changed her name from the demeaning Funny Face. When I saw her at PetSmart while shopping for food for my other cats she stole my heart. She was so thin her ribs showed through her fur. Three years later she's fatter, happier and loves back rubs. She howls like a cayote or rooster, depending on if she wants food or just attention. I took this photo right after I adopted her. She was understandably scare of being in a strange place, but she was also in pain. When I took her to the vet we discovered that she had an abscessed tooth (top right canine) that had to come out. After weeks of the dreaded collar and stumbling around my apartment to learn the lay of of the new land, she was finally healed and well on her way to becoming Princess Jasmine of the Crib, having to share the space with my two other cats, hissing Queen Sierra, a dreaded 15-year-old (at the time) calico, and mischievous Sunshine, the, um ... Princess Royale.
