Pet's Story or Bio
Pepe was found on the streets on Indianapolis in 2016, believed to be 4 hrs old. He was passed I’ve at the shelter because he was so small and frail and came complete with a heart murmur. He quickly won the heart of my 15 yr old daughter and became her service dog. Little man Pepe was the tiny dog we never knew we needed. He had a bucket list a mile long. He went to high school to raise money for the local shelter, he went to college in Florida, he went on many road trips and even became a fan favorite at our local taco joint! After college his vision was fading, the cataracts more noticeable and the ophthalmologist said he had detached retinas. Did it stop him-nope! He became our little roomba, walking into things and going the other way. He quickly learned to navigate his common places. We even got a playpen for him when he needed to be confined. Then sadly this summer his little heart got so full it couldn’t go on. He passed in my daughters arms quietly. The hardest day we knew was coming. He is furever our “Little man”.
