Pet's Story or Bio
Scootie is our 15 year old rat terrier/chihuahua mix from Arkansas. She was abandoned at the side of the road with her brother as six month old puppies. People in CT paid to transport her brother, other people promised to pay for her, so they sent them together. The truck showed up in a parking lot in CT one dark and rainy night. All the dogs were picked up by their new families, but Scootie was left… A local rescue service took her in and posted her on Petfinder. At the time I was grieving the recent loss of my dog Riley, I came across Scootie, and within a few days of her arrival in CT, she went home in my arms and has been in them ever since!
